The agenda was divided into two streams. More than 30 speakers took to the stages with presentations and led panel discussions and open interviews called MBLT Talks to share their knowledge and experience. Among them were representatives from such companies as Facebook, Google, Alibaba Mobile Business Group, QuantaCorp, The Economist, Aviasales.
The main topics were global trends, innovations, advertising, analytics, business success stories from international leaders and practical cases for different business spheres. Activities at booths and awesome afterparty from Pure created a great opportunity for networking.
First keynote speaker was Marvin Liao, Partner at 500 Startups. He did presentation "Global investment trends in mobile". Marvin admitted, that the most interesting and perspective IT spheres are VR, IoT, cybersecurity and education. This topic was expanded by Ragnar Sass, co-founder of the biggest European startup accelerator Garage48and also co-founder of CRM Pipedrive:
Engineer and futurist thinker, co-founder of QuantaCorp Nell Watson presented and also showed the example of the role of intelligent machines in our everyday lives. She took to the stage in Lechal shoes, that with the vibrations helps to navigate easily the new city. Shoes are connected with smartphone, on which the actual root is built.
At once three representatives of Facebook presented at MBLT16. Tom Laster, Partner and Ecosystem Development Manager, told the participants about the marketing partnership opportunities with social network. Anna-Maria Treneva spoke about launching of the new flexible targeting platform and gave the tips for smarter ads settings on Facebook. Tigran Khudaverdyan from Yandex.taxi announced Telegram bot launching. Managing Partner at Rambler&Co Andrew Ilichev told the listeners about the plans of implementing the new function like Shazam to Rambler Kassa app. It would detect movie trailers and add them to the wish list, then it would send notifications about the dates of releases.
Andrew Bakalenko, Head of Mobile Products at Sberbank, shared the success story of Sberbank Online mobile app, gave the details on the process, instruments and approaches they'd been using during 4 years.
Also representatives of app stores participated at MBLT16. Alexey Kokin, Partner Development Manager at Google Play, gave the tips how to make the app of high quality, shared how Google Play featured apps and put them in the TOP and also answered loads of questions about user acquisition.
Jamie Credland, Global Head of Client Marketing & Research at British newspaper the Economist, shared how they launched a new mobile app for morning news Espresso.
Gathering such user data helps the Economist to update the content in their app and thus make it irreplaceable for users. The last talk was really frankly presentation from Elena Rydkina — sex evangelist in Pure, fast dating app. Elena told about trends and innovations in SexTech.
